Nearly €78,000 has been awarded to community and non-profit childcare services in Co Tipperary under the 2014 Early Years Programme.
The allocation has been approved by the Minister for children and Youth Affairs James Reilly after an application process.
According to local TD Noel Coonan who has welcomed the funding, the grants, awarded today will be used for essential repairs, refurbishment and improving energy ratings and was given to areas of economic disadvantage.
