A man was killed in a single vehicle accident in Clonoulty this morning.
The accident happened at around 8.10am when the man in question exited his truck to open gates. The truck is believed to have rolled back, hitting the man, resulting in fatal injuries.
His body has been taken to South Tipperary General Hospital.
The Tipperary/Thurles road (R661) was closed for a time today in Clonoulty but has since reopened.
