There was success at last night’s National Enterprise Awards for the Tipperary Representative as NutShed, run by Nenagh sisters Eliza and Evie Ward, emerged as the winners for the South West Region. The company was supported by the Tipperary Local Enterprise office and produces snack food items based on peanut butter and vegan ingredients. The business began as a market stall in 2014 and the products are now stocked in over 600 outlets including several supermarket chains. The Ward sisters are daughters of Peter Ward, owner of Country Choice, Nenagh.

A software company from Kildare has been named the overall winner at this year’s National Enterprise Awards. DreamDev Technologies has developed a new process supported by Artificial intelligence which aims to help companies reduce the amount of time it takes to get their products to market.
