Restore Works Underway For Fethard Regional Water Supply Network

303

Uisce Éireann is working to restore water supply to customers following an operational issue impacting parts of the Fethard Regional Water Supply network. Customers in the areas of Arbourhill, Moyglass, Ballinlusky and surrounding areas are affected.

Uisce Eireann says as repairs are ongoing, it may take until tomorrow morning before normal water pressure is fully returned to all customers, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.

Uisce Éireann has arranged the delivery of alternative water supplies to locations in Moyglass Village, Silverfort and Ballinlusky until the supply returns. These tankers were to be in place by 1pm today and customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure as per HSE advice.

The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also find information on the Water Supply Updates section of the Uisce Éireann website at  water.ie
