Preparations are ongoing in Tipperary town for a four-day music festival set to begin tomorrow Thursday May 9th.
The event is being staged in a marquee in the Lidl Car park. The committee running the event in it’s second year are keeping with the successful 2023 format of evening performances – doors opening at 8pm each evening except Sunday when doors open at 7pm.
The event begins with DJ Richie, Claudia Buckley and Johnny Brady on Thursday, A Tina Turner tribute act and 80s/90s disco follows on Friday with DJ Bren the opening act.
The Tumbling Paddies play on Saturday night with DJ Richie the opening act and Sunday sees local man Anthony O’Connor opening for Claudia Hagan and Mike Denver.
The Festival Marquee offers full bar facilities and seating is also available.
Tipperary Co – op are the main sponsors for the Tipperary Music Festival.
