The Cottage restaurant in Loughmore is to remain closed tomorrow as a mark of respect following the death of Maeve O’Hair one of the co-founders. Ms O’Hair died yesterday.
The Cottage posted news of Ms O’Hair’s death noting that Maeve was one of the Co-Founders of Loughmore Community Co-operative Society Ltd in 2012 and worked tirelessly at The Cottage to build it up and make it the success it is – the post continues “Maeve made an impact on everyone she met – always smiling, welcoming, and so interested in people.”
Ms O’Hair is survived by her daughter Béibhiwn and son Rory, companion Peter, her 6 sisters and three brothers and extended family. The family have asked for donations if desired in lieu of flowers to the Irish Cancer Society, c/o Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore.
