The County Tipperary Chamber says St Patrick’s Day has underscored the event’s significance in fostering local and international connections. Tipperary Chamber represents businesses all across the county and is headquartered in Clonmel.

President Sarah Fogarty says the festivities brought together the community in a grand celebration of Irish heritage which also served as a pivotal platform for networking and establishing valuable relationships beyond Ireland’s shores.

President Sarah Fogarty, who attended the Clonmel Parade as a guest of Clonmel Mayor, Cllr Richie Molloy says the unity and warmth witnessed  reflect the strength and resilience of the community.

The Clonmel event included champion boxer Shauna O’Keeffe, whose participation symbolized the triumphs and potential of County Tipperary’s youth according to Ms Fogarty. 

Additionally, the Chamber welcomed Councillor Debs Edwards, Mayor of Reading,  Mario Abl, Mayor of Trofaiach, Austria, and representatives from Eysines, Bordeaux facilitating discussions around cultural exchange and economic partnerships.

Tipperary Chamber CEO Michelle Alyward adds that “engaging with dignitaries and business leaders from abroad opens up avenues for collaboration that can significantly benefit county Tipperary.”
