€4,750 Raised For Circle Of Friends Through Over 35 Rugby Match Fundraiser

The Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre is to benefit from the proceeds of an over 35s charity rugby match held in Kilfeacle and District RFC.

The event raised €4,750 which has been presented to the Cancer Support Centre located in Knockanrawley, Tipperary town.

Jack O’Sullivan and Bernard O’Callaghan arranged an over 35s charity match with players coming together from various clubs in Tipperary including Clanwilliam, county Limerick based Clubs in addition to some of Mr O’Callaghan’s Army colleagues taking part.

 Mary Teresa O’Donnell accepted the cheque on behalf of the centre and thanked the organisers, the participants and donors adding the significant donation was invaluable.  The match was dedicated to the memory of Ms O’Donnell’s niece, Rachel Kenneally, who died due to cancer in 2018.
