Preferred N24 Waterford-Cahir Transport Solution To Be Revealed Later This Month

The N24 road project between Waterford and Cahir is to publish it’s preferred transport solution later this month.

The project is expected to involve a range of proposals including road construction, public transport and active travel measures and traffic demand proposals.

Four Public Displays of the proposals from the consultants(ARUP) will be provided starting in Cahir at the Cahir Hotel on January  23rd,  at the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel on January 24th , in Mooncoin Community Centre on January 25th and in the Carrig Hotel Carrick on Suir on January 26th.  All four  public display events will run from 2pm until 8pm.

Landowners directly affected will receive two notifications in advance of these public display events. In addition landowners or occupiers can meet in person with the design team up to February 9th .

Tipperary County Council is leading the work on the N24 road project from Cahir towards Limerick ending at Knockballyfookeen just west of Brooks Bridge. The website for this project is www.n24cahirlimerick.ie.
