Tipperary GAA is joining with County Boards all across Ireland to acknowledge and thank JP McManus, his wife Noreen, and their children for their incredible generosity on the news yesterday that they are donating €1M to Tipperary GAA for distribution to clubs across the Gaelic Games family in the county. €1 million will be allocated to each county, with the direction from JP McManus that it is to be split evenly amongst the GAA, Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football organisations. Tipperary GAA is confirming receipt of the €1M donation and would like to place on record it’s sincere gratitude to JP McManus and his family for this fantastic gesture of support.
The Board also confirms that all financial distributions to the clubs in Tipperary will be completed by January 31st 2024.
Mr McManus previously allocated €100,000 to every county GAA board in Ireland in 2018. The funds were distributed from the JP McManus Charitable Foundation.
