St Mary’s Church in Tipperary Town are looking for volunteers to help collect items for their Food Bank.
The church is being given permission from the management of the Tipperary Town Plaza to use the plaza as a collection point on the first week of December.
The aim of the collection is to restock their community food bank.
St Ailbe’s TY students are collecting from 10 to 3 they are also making up the food boxes to be delivered in the community.
Reverend Mike O Meara says he’s looking for people to cover two hour shifts , 3 to 5 and 5 to 7 Monday 4th Dec to Thursday 7th.
