Tipperary Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre is to hold a Variety Concert Fundraising event in the Marian Hall, St Michael’s Street, Tipperary town tonight. The show is produced by Michael O’Donoghue and will begin at 8pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.

The Centre will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary at it’s magnificent facility in Knockanrawley on December 8th and 9th.  The Cancer Support Centre offers a wide range of support to people at any stage of a cancer illness.  These range from one to one services such as Counselling, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Physiotherapy and a range of support Groups.

The Circle of Friends provides a building that is attractive, furnished with colours and materials to distance the setting from a sterile medical environment. The building is set in beautifully landscaped grounds as the emphasis is on providing a positive and welcoming environment for those availing of the Centre.

The show tonight features a wide range of local talent with the irrepressible Anne O’Dwyer one of the final acts. The entertainment on offer includes 24 acts over two sessions with a raffle to be held during the intermission.  The audience can look forward to Drama, Comedy Skits, Dancing, Music, Singing, and Recitations.  The Finale will feature The Circle Friends Choir.

The organisers say all are welcome and your support is most appreciated.
