Uisce Eireann Advising A Number Of Issues Effecting Supply In Tipperary Town

Uisce Eireann is advising of a number of issues affecting supply in Tipperary town.

In a statement this afternoon Uisce Eireann says burst watermains at Bank Place was repaired last night –  water was restored to customers at 2am this morning.

A reservoir interruption continues to cause supply disruption to Tipperary town and surrounding areas. Works now have an estimated completion time of 10pm tonight(Wednesday.)  The company says customers should allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

Customers are also advised that valve repairs may cause supply disruptions to Tipperary town and surrounding areas from 9:30pm tonight (Wednesday) until 3am tomorrow morning.

Again customers are asked to allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

Uisce Éireann says it understands the inconvenience when an unplanned outage occurs and thanks customers for their patience while repairs are underway.
