Tipp Mid West Radio is to hold its first ever Golf Classic today.
The event is being held over two days at Tipperary Golf Club.
Teams will be heading out from 2 until 5pm this evening with tomorrow the event resuming from 9am until 5pm.
The event is in injunction with Tipperary Cooperative and the golf course is sponsored by Liam Murphy Fitness Repairs.
There’s many superb prizes up for grabs for those taking part, with a ceremony due on Friday night, where all teams are encouraged to attend when the prizes will be given out.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who’s supported us from our sponsors Tipperary Cooperative and Liam Murphy Fitness Repairs, to those who sponsored tee box’s and those who will take to the golf course as part of a team and also to our very dedicated committee who put together this fundraising event.
The funds of this event will support the radio station as we upgrade our studio in Tipperary Town and work on getting a studio in Cashel town.
