Just Eat, the online food order and delivery brand of Dutch company Just Eat Takeaway.com,
is to expand it’s area of operation and will now provide a service in the Clonmel area.
Through the expansion, Clonmel consumers will be able to avail of Just Eat for food delivery and grocery orders in their area. The launch of Just Eat in Clonmel, will widen access to additional restaurants such as McDonalds and Subway and grocery retailers.
Total annual expenditure on food delivery & takeaway orders in the Irish market is estimated to be €2.2 billion (ex VAT). The company sees significant growth potential in Ireland now and into the future. Irish consumers currently spend an average of €46.69 on takeaways monthly and order a takeaway approximately 2.9 times per month.
