Two local pharmacies in Tipperary town are to merge.
Over the coming weeks Life Pharmacy on Davis Street will merge with Crosses Pharmacy also known as McMahons and the store on Davis street will close on August 31sth.
There will be no job losses as all personnel currently working in the LIFE Pharmacy will be moving to Crosses on Main Street.
Customers will be able to avail of pharmacy services 6 days a week at Crosses.
Patient medical records and prescriptions will be automatically transferred to Crosses.
