Garda in Carrick on Suir have cancelled a missing person alert in respect of an elderly man.
Earlier today a body was found in Carrick on Suir thought to be that of the 72 year old missing man named as Richard Hall.
Mr Hall was reported missing from his home in the Ballylynch area on Saturday morning. Garda have thanked the public for their assistance.
