The Irish Nurses and Mid Wife’s Organisation reports that there are 90 admitted patients in University Hospital Limerick waiting on a bed today. The nursing union says 37 of the patients are in the Emergency Department area and a further 53 admitted patients in Limerick are accommodated by placing their trolley in some ward of the hospital.
There are no patients on trolleys in TUH in Clonmel today or in Nenagh Hospital. Nationally a total of 365 admitted patients are waiting for beds today including 7 children.
