Tipperary town Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that it received resignations from four committee members on April 28th. Tipp Mid-West Radio understands that Chamber Chairperson Joe Hayes has contacted all members of the Chamber to inform them that the 4 people resigned via a WhatsApp message. Mr Hayes has thanked the four people for their contribution to the Chamber and wished them well for the future.
As regards holding an Annual General Meeting, Mr Hayes says the committee is working to finalise it’s accounts but information is outstanding from some of the Sub Groups within the business representative body. The group has not held an AGM since 2020 and it’s annual return to the Companies Registration Office is now overdue. Tipperary town Chamber operates as a Company Limited by Guarantee and the Company number is 119544.
