Drivers on the N24 are being advised of major road works at Lackan – a townland between Tipperary town and Bansha. The works are expected to continue until May 24th and involve the installation of barriers at the roadside. The Vehicle Restraint System is a safety measure for vehicles using the busy road.
Temporary traffic management is in place to facilitate the installation of the barriers which involves a Stop and Go system in alternate directions. Drivers are asked to be mindful of staff working on the project and to drive with caution. The works will be undertaken between 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday.
