Garda from Tipperary Town have organised an additional property marking event for today, Wednesday 15th February at Toomey’s Filling Station, Monard, Co. Tipperary.
Members of the public are invited to attend between noon and 4pm.
The items are marked with the owner’s Eircode so people should bring this with them along with the item itself – items such as tools, bicycles, trailers can be marked.
The property marking machine will also be available at Hollyford village tomorrow, Thursday 16th February, from 11-2pm.
The action is intended to prevent the theft of items or should items be recovered they can be traced back to the owner.
