Irish water wishes to clarify the areas affected by the Boil Water Notice in respect of Toomevara. The Boil water notice became necessary as the usual water source has insufficient supplies at present and the temporary alternative source was found to require boiling before use to meet the HSE standards for drinking water.
This Toomevara Boil Water notice applies to all consumers in the Toomevara and surrounding areas, on the Nenagh Public Water Supply, not the entire Nenagh public water supply.
The areas affected includes Toomevara, Coolkereen, Pallas West, Monanore, Garrane, Ballinlough and surrounding areas. A map of the area is available to view on the supply and service section of water.ie.
