Tipperary Excel Centre are inviting their guests to say hello to “The Gruffalo”.
The carving is a creation of Will Fogarty known for his Chainsaw Sculptures and was commissioned by Tipperary Library.
The figure has now been installed in the lobby at the Excel Centre and visitors are encouraged to stop and have their picture taken with the handsome Gruffalo.
The character is based on the one in a series of books by UK author Julia Donaldson.
The moral of the Gruffalo story is, really, no matter how small or how big you are, you can get yourself out of any situation.
