Garda in Clonmel have confirmed that the N24 road between Kilsheelan and Carrick-on-Suir is closed following a collision.
While no further details of the vehicle(s) involved have been released it is expected that the road will be closed for most of this evening.
Emergency services are at the scene.
There are no details as to any injuries at this stage. Motorists are advised to expect delays.
