Irish water customers on the Galtee Regional public supply are reminded that a boil water notice has been issued for the area.
The areas affected include customers in Emly, Lattin, Ballinard, Cullen, Ballywire, Kilross, Limerick Junction, Monard, Lisvarnane, Rosadrehid, Bansha, Tankerstown, Kilfeacle, Golden, Cashel, Rosegreen, New Inn and surrounding areas – in all some 15,000 people are impacted by the Boil before use notice.
The supply in Tipperary town is not affected.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Irish Water will be contacted directly about this notice.

Speaking to TMWR Irish Water says it unlikely the boil notice will be lifted this week but are hopeful it could be early next week.
