Members of the community in Tipperary town and hinterland are reminded that there will be a public meeting tonight in respect of ideas and plans for St Patricks Day celebrations in the town.
The meeting is scheduled for 7pm at the Porter House on Main Street and all are welcome.
The Chamber of Commerce are leading the plans but are anxious to have a very inclusive event – ideas for the event and offers of help with events, finances, stewarding on the day are also requested.

The event being planned is for an celebration in the Market Yard area of Tipperary Town beginning at 1pm rather than a traditional parade.
