New T registered car sales are slightly down last month than in the same month last year.
The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) have revealed that 739 new cars were sold in the Premier County in January compared to 749 in 2021.
In Limerick, there was an almost 10% reduction in new L registered cars between 2021 and this year.
Nationally, electric car sales have reached their highest sales month on record with 2,714 registered last month compared to 977 in January 2021.
