The Pandemic Unemployment Payment will reopen tomorrow for those impacted by the new COVID-19 restrictions.
New entrants for the PUP are expected to receive the 350 euro however those on the scheme already will remain on the lower rate.
Also the commercial rates wavier will now be extended for the first three months of 2022 mainly for the hospitality industry.
It’s expected that a new version of the Covid Restrictions Support Scheme will be in place, with a 5,000 euro cap per week and be paid at a rate of 12 percent on 2019 turnover.
