From 27th May, the price of both standard national letter stamps and internnational letter stamps will increase, An Post have confirmed.
A standard stamp will now cost €1.10 – an increase of 10 cent, while an international stamp will cost €2.00, an increase of 30 cent. The price increase was due to take place in February 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
According to An Post CEO, David McRedmond “these increases are necessary for An Post to accelerate its successful transformation into a modern network delivering to every community across the country”.
An Post also confirmed that Community Supports introduced during the pandemic, will continue “until at least the end of the year”
