Thurles has been chosen as the Co Tipperary location for the youth mental health service, Jigsaw.
The official announcement was made by the Minister for Mental Health and Older People Jim Daly, who paid a visit to the county today.
Thurles will be the central base for the project, while outreach hubs will be located elsewhere in the county, with Nenagh and Clonmel to be given priority.
