A number of scams seeking to do people out of their money and personal details are being reported these days.
Most recently gardaí have been informed of an instance in which an individual received a phone call from someone purporting to be from the US, claiming that there was an issue with the person’s email. That person was asked for their private email details.
Gardai are appealing to the public to never divulge their email details or passwords
