Support Being Made Available To Friends of Clonmel Teenager.

648

Tributes have been paid to Jack Downey, the Clonmel teenager who died after taking a substance at the Indiependence Music Festival in Mitchelstown, Co Cork over the August Holiday weekend.

Around 400 people attended a special mass for the 19-year-old last night at his local GAA club, Clonmel Óg.

Speaking to Tipp Mid West Radio this morning, Clonmel Mayor Garret Ahearn, in pleading for young people to be careful, welcomed the club’s decision to provide support for his friends at this difficult time.
