Overcrowding Continues at Irish Hospitals

Overcrowding continues at University Hospital Limerick today.

There are a total of 89 patients there experiencing delayed admission. Fifty patients are receiving care on trolleys and another thirty nine patients have been accommodated in some ward of the hospital.

Nationally, there are 498 admitted patients are waiting for beds according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. There was one patient receiving care on a trolley in Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel.
