Tipperary’s hurling celebrations will officially get underway in Thurles this evening when the winners of the Senior and Minor All-Ireland hurling championships make their homecoming.
The Seniors defeated Kilkenny yesterday afternoon by a score of 2-29 to 2-20. While the Minors beat Limerick 1-21 to 17 points.
Both teams will arrive back to Semple stadium this evening at around 7pm but the celebrations will begin at the stadium much earlier – starting between 4pm and 5pm.
