Fianna Fail will tonight choose one of the candidates it will put forward in in Co Tipperary for the next General Election.
Former TD and minister Martin Mansergh, is among those seeking selection at the Anner hotel Thurles tonight. He will be joined by councillors Imelda Goldsboro, Siobhan Ambrose, Jackie Cahill and Michael Smith Jnr.

Fianna Fail failed to return a single TD in Co Tipperary in the last General Election and it is expected that the party will field two candidates this time round with the second to be chosen at a later date.
Voting will take place between 6pm and 9pm
Tonight’s convention will be chaired by the party’s Vice President Timmy Dooley.
