Co Tipperary TDs are again being called upon to lobby the IDA on bringing jobs to Co Tipperary.
This call is being made by Cllr Jackie Cahill following confirmation that the process of winding up Lisheen Mines is finally to take place.
He said that the IDA failed to bring a single job to Tipperary last year, despite commitments made by elected representatives in recent years to bring new industries to the area.
He added that Tipperary cannot have meaningful economic recovery so long as the government’s strategy is soley focussed on bringing jobs to Dublin.
