Co Tipperary has seen the greatest increase in the number of penalty points received by drivers nationwide in 2013.
According to figures released by the Department of Transport, an additional 1,307 penalty points were issued last year, even though nationally, the overall rate of points being issued fell by 28,672 or 12%
