Garda are advising people to take precautions to prevent the theft of their property as the longer days set in.
According to Bruff Gardaí as the weather gets warmer and the evenings longer there is a danger that people may get complacent about their property’s secutrity.
Therefore they are reminding the public to ensure that all windows and doors are locked if property is vacant.
It is also advised that all garden appliances are locked away.
