Tipperary Senior hurlers are out of contention for the 2024 Munster Senior Hurling Championship with one game in the round robin series left to play.

Cork defeated Tipperary yesterday on scoreline of 1 – 21 to 4 – 31.

Tipperary’s final match is against Clare next Sunday in Thurles at 4pm while Limerick will take on Waterford to conclude the preliminary matches.

The top two teams in Munster will qualify for the Munster Final set for June 9th with the third place team qualifying for the All Ireland Series. Tipperary last won a Munster title in 2016 – Limerick are seeking to win a 6th consecutive title this year as they also aim for history as the first team to win 5 All Irelands in a row.
