Tipperary Tidy Towns group is hosting an open meeting in the Porterhouse this evening at 7pm. The group is also calling on members to volunteer at Saturdays afternoon’s Creative event for Children in the Market Yard.
The meeting agenda will includes updates on Finance, the campaign in respect of reducing the placement and use of election posters in the town, the 2024 entry to the Tidy towns Competition which is now submitted, an update on the work of 7 TUS workers attached to the Tidy Towns Group and planning for the 2025 Tidy Town’s entry which is based on the work completed from June 1st 2024 to May 31st 2025.
The organisers of the Market Yard event on Saturday afternoon say the car park will be closed from Friday night to allow performers to set up for the event which is due to start at 1pm and run until 5pm.
