A second bus shelter is partially installed on the Link Road – when this is completed the existing bus stop on Abbey street serving Westbound buses will be discontinued.
20 flexible bollards have been installed on the back of the barracks road leading under Longford bridge to the N24 by Tipperary County Council to create a pedestrian walking space. The council conducted a trial to assess if there was space to make a delineated pedestrian route which is popular with walkers making a loop of the town. Flooding issues have been reported on the route as it passes under the bridge.
