The first member of Tipperary Boxing Club in action at the juvenile boxing championships is through to a semi final. Tyrick Delaney was judged the winner in a 3-2 split decision in his quarter final against Brooklyn Barrett from Olympic Boxing Club Galway yesterday. Tyrick and Jayden Setters will both compete in semi finals today at the National Stadium, Dublin.
The National Championships for boxers under 16 will run until April 7th – three other Tipperary town boxers will also take part this week – Katie Hutchinson, Lauren Long and Ava Freeman.
