Gardaí are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision between Lattin and Tipp Town.
A motorcycle collided with a car during the incident which occurred in the Deer Park area at 10:30am on the R515 road.
The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to Cork University Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
It’s expected the road will be closed for the next couple of hours and local diversions are in place.
