Ballylooby is to hold it’s event on Monday March 18th. The local community Council will host a parade commencing at noon on the Bank Holiday People are asked to wear green and celebrate with family and friends and organisers are hopeful that floats from other parts of the county may join the Ballylooby celebrations.

Cahir’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is set for a start at 12pm. The parade route extends from Super Valu to the Square. A quiet viewing area is available opposite the Post Office for those preferring less noise once floats pass the viewing stand. Due to the parade route buses that usually use the bus stop on Castle Street will instead use an alternative location at Keating’s Garage on Cashel Road between noon and 2pm. This affects Bus Eireann routes x245, 55, and 355.

Carrick On Suir Parade has a 1pm start from the car park at Parkside with entertainment to follow the end of the parade – Local Soccer star Lee Grace is the 2024 Grand Marshall

Cashel is hosting a static event on the Plaza this year commencing at 1pm. A full line up of bands and entertainment including the pipe band, a brass band, entertainment from the Wobbly circus, performances by the Burgess school of Irish Dance, Bru Boru Comhtaltas, singer Alana Manton, Rush Traditional Music Group, the DAPA dance group, local band Ferns and conclude with a performance by Sean Feery and Shay Fitz. The community event is planned to go on until 5:30pm this evening.

Clonmel’s parade will commence at 3pm and parade along O’Connell Street from Westgate to the Town Hall Shauna O’Keeffe, Boxer, and winner of five National Boxing Titles will be the Grand Marshall for the 2024 Parade. A special feature is a flag raising ceremony at St Patrick’s well at 8.30am.  St Mary’s Church  will feature Mass in Irish at noon on March 17th.  There are several road closures in Clonmel commencing at 8am on Sunday March 17th until 8pm.

Killaloe-Ballina St Patrick’s Day Parade will leave from Ballina GAA complex at 2.15pm on Sunday, March 17, and finishing on The Green in Killaloe. 

Littleton Parade will commence at 10.30am – the hugely popular parade will be followed by refreshments  in the Muintir Na Tire Hall afterwards, as a fundraiser by Moycarkey Borris club.

Nenagh’s event is in the form of a St. Patricks Day Concert and Festival Market with singer Martin Grace starting events at 1pm The event is located around the Courthouse area of town in Banba Square and includes such highlights as Trudi Lalor, JPs Gigantic Disco, Jacko the Clown and Friends, O’Meara Academy of Irish Dance, Nenagh Brass Band, and Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service.

Roscrea’s St Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on March 17 at 3.30pm the parade offers a wide range of prizes for participants and is also promoting a Shop Window Competition

Templemore town Square will feature a huge event commencing at noon. A full day of entertainment is planned with a big screen, courtesy of Greys.ie, in the Square to allow messages from Templemore people abroad to be shared with family and friends at home.

Thurles St Patrick’s Day Parade will step off on the Abbey Road at 2.30pm and travel via Friar Street to Liberty Square. The parade will feature two bands the Sean Treacy Pipe band and the CJ Kickham Band. Guest of Honour for the Parade 2024 is Luke Blackwell, from the Christian Brothers Secondary School in Thurles a winner at the 2024 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. There will be live music from 1pm, face painting and side attractions before the parade arrives in Liberty Square.  The Arch Bar in Liberty Square will host a 12-hour Irish Traditional Session on the day to raise funds for Ciarán’s Cancer Treatment Fund – a seriously ill 4 year old boy now undergoing treatment.
