Tipperary Credit Union is holding it’s Annual Members Christmas Day event this afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. The event will also include a draw for a new car and seven cash prizes with a live broadcast with Tipp Mid West Radio. Members of the community are invited to visit the Credit Union building on Emmet Street between 2 and 4pm for some gifts and food. Conor Martin from Cappawhite GAA club will also be present with the Irish Press Cup won by the Tipperary minor hurling team when they defeated Offaly in the 2022 All Ireland Minor final. The CJ Kickham Band and the friendly Beanie character will also be in attendance to add to the festivities.
A 2023 Calendar featuring photographs taken by local people (Jamie Victoria Wade, Mary Margaret Ryan & Martin Quinn) will be on sale for €2 (or three for a €5) with the proceeds shared between Milford Hospice, C-Saw mental Health Tipperary, the Dillon Quirke Foundation and Tipperary town Meals on Wheels. Tipperary Credit Union will close on Dec 23rd at 5pm and re-open on December 29th at 9.30am.
