An information event is to be held in the Tipperary Community Services Centre, St Michael’s Street this evening – the event is being led by the Access Office of the Technological University of the Shannon.
The event is to share information about a new course – a Certificate in Transition to Higher Education. The course leads to the award of a Level 6 Special award.
The course is intended as a stepping stone and pathway to enable a person to acquire the skills to commence a degree course.
The drop in information event runs at the Community Services Centre between 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
The course fee is €500, this is reduced to €100 if the person is in receipt certain social protection payments and a payment plan is also available.
