A study on Ireland’s best towns for work-life balance shows Tipperary is faring poorly.
That’s according Switchers.ie which looked at 50 towns in Ireland including Clonmel.
The study examined a number of indicators including access to primary schools, GP surgeries, leisure activities, hybrid working and broadband speed.
Clonmel didn’t feature in the top 5 of any indicators and ranked 17th of 50 towns studied while Castlebar in County Mayo took the top spot.
The Work-Life Balance Act 2023 was brought in by the Irish Government last year, with the Work Place Relations Commission introducing a new Code of Practice regards remote and flexible working during 2024.
This act means the right to request remote and flexible working is now enshrined by law.
