The Tipperary Town Task Force is appealing to people to register to attend the free Tipperary Town Energy Fair taking place at Tipperary Excel tomorrow evening(Thursday January 18th).

The event will feature information on saving energy, an Energy Clinic for local householders and businesses, as well as the launch of Tipperary Town Community Energy Plan by Tipperary Town Revitalisation and Tipperary Tidy Towns. The plan demonstrates that €30M is spent annually on energy in the town and also shows how energy audits of local businesses and homes reveal how savings can be made.

The Energy Plan also outlines a roadmap for the town to harness the investment and employment opportunities by saving and generating energy in homes, businesses and the community.

Doors to the Energy Fair will open at 6.30pm for people to visit trade/information stands and meet presenters. Presentations will also be made dealing with SEAI supports for communities, the Tipperary Community Climate Action Fund and Green For Micro and other Business Supports available.  Full details are available on the Tipp Town Revitalisation  website and Facebook page – places can be booked at this link  here.
