A Special Christmas Reflection for Peace is to be held in St Mary’s Church, Tipperary Town on December 11th.

Mrs. Sabina Higgins, wife of President Michael D. Higgins, will attend and will deliver a special address on the occasion. The event is organised by the Tipperary Peace Convention. It is also planned to release the four names shortlisted for the 2023 Tipperary International Peace Award at the event.

Martin Quinn, the Honorary secretary of the Tipperary Peace Convention says the event is an opportunity to reflect on the profound need for peace and consider the significance of peace, love, and joy that define the true spirit of Christmas.

Nine Ambassadors have confirmed their attendance to date including the Ambassadors from Ukraine and Palestine.
