Tipperary Roads Policing Unit carrying out patrols in the Thurles district intercepted and seized 4 vehicles earlier today.
One motorist was identified as being disqualified from driving and was subsequently arrested and has been charged to court.
The remaining three vehicles were identified as being uninsured following alerts through the new MobilityApp which provides more real time information to help identify a number of offences.
All vehicles were seized and the drivers will face charges in court at a future date.
